2027 emergency mobility grants

The Roberto Cimetta Fund is opening a call to fund professional travel for artists and cultural professionals from Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Yemen and Sudan, with a focus on countries and artists living through a crisis or a state of emergency.

Contracts will be issued in December 2026 and the first payment will be made between 2 and 15 January 2027. Travel can take place between 16 January and 30 June 2027.

In a crisis, the movement of artists stops before anything else. Tours are cancelled, residencies postponed, invitations left unanswered because nobody can pay for a plane ticket. This call has one purpose: to remove the practical obstacle that prevents a professional journey from taking place.
