The Arch and Anne Giles Kimbrough Fund was created at the Dallas Museum of Art in 1980 for the purpose of recognizing exceptional talent and potential in young visual artists. This fund seeks applicants who show a commitment to growing their artistic endeavors. Past recipients of this award have used these funds to purchase art materials and equipment, rent studio spaces, compensate studio assistants, and cover travel and hotel costs to attend international art exhibitions such as the Venice Biennale.
