With digital transformation reshaping every facet of our lives, we are excited to announce an open call for our residency program at Ping-Pong, a project space in the heart of Berlin. This residency invites independent artists, scientists, and critical thinkers to deeply engage with the pressing questions of our time and envision possible futures for humanity. We emphasise diverse cultural approaches to knowledge, sharing, and understanding our place and time within a rapidly changing world, with a focus on proactive adaptation to this evolving landscape.

Ping-Pong is dedicated to bringing together scholars, artists, and scientists from around the world to explore the intersection of art, science, and technology. We encourage a convergence of diverse artistic disciplines, including aesthetics, media arts, computing, cognitive science, AI, and the philosophy of mind.

We offer accommodations for up to two residents at a time, providing them with the space to pursue their independent work. We favour applicants that submit projects that expand the discourse, challenge conventional knowledge, and expand visions of a collective future.

Residents are encouraged to move beyond conventional applications of technology and critically engage with the very concept of art itself; to explore new artistic methodologies, push the boundaries of artistic expression, and provoke fresh perspectives.

Ping-Pong is a flex-space that easily transforms from a living environment into a venue for meetings, cabinet-sized exhibitions, and performances. Designed for clean, collaborative work, it aims to build a global network for meaningful dialogue on the potential of art in shaping visions of a liveable future.
