The Hasselblad Foundation’s Nature Photography Grant has been awarded since 2008. The purpose of the grant is, with Victor Hasselblad’s interest in nature in mind, to encourage the development of nature photography in the Nordic countries.
The aim of the grant is to support photographic explorations of nature, landscape and environment that advance the field of nature photography.The grant is open to all photographers. The applicant must be a citizen of a Nordic country, or a citizen of another country who is permanently resident in a Nordic country Applications can be submitted by individuals or groups.
In the evaluation process, particular emphasis is placed on originality and creativity, as well as on the project’s focus on environmental aspects, critical perspectives, biodiversity and the human impact on nature and climate. Collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches are encouraged!
