We invite artists of all disciplines to apply for DEEP TIME, an immersive experience at the intersection of art and ecology, held on the remote island of Fleinvær in Arctic Norway.
DEEP TIME unfolds in a landscape of elemental presence — no cars, no shops, no artificial noise, no visual clutter. Just sea, rock, sky, and shifting light. Here, time stretches. Sensory attention sharpens. Artistic process deepens.
This interdisciplinary immersive opportunity is for visual artists, writers, composers, photographers, performance and body artists, choreographers, dancers, movement practitioners, filmmakers, sound artists, and artistic-researchers whose work engages environment, temporality, and place — whether through material, concept, ritual, or imagination. We welcome those working in any form or medium who are drawn to explore the layered entanglements of time and ecology.

The November sessions invite slowness and immersion. The long nights and aurora-lit skies offer a rare container for quiet work, collaborative exchange, and deep focus. The immersive art and ecology experience includes sleeping cabins, shared creative spaces, and time to work independently or in dialogue.
