catalyze fellowships

An investment in artists living in central Arkansas and the Arkansas Delta

Combining money, mentoring, and management, the Catalyze program ignites change in the careers of individual artists. Catalyze fellowships of $10,000 are awarded annually to 25 artists, who may choose how best to use the funding in support of their creative practices.

Catalyze is a program of Mid-America Arts Alliance made possible through the support of the Windgate Foundation that provides practice-based grant funding, professional development, and coaching to artists of all disciplines in central Arkansas and the Arkansas Delta.

Timeline:

• February 2026: Catalyze applicant notification

• April 2026: Public announcement

• April 25-26, 2026: Catalyze Retreat

• May 2026: Funding distributed ($9,500)

• May 2026: Applicant feedback provided upon request

• July-Aug. 2026: Small Group Session #1

• Oct-Nov. 2026: Small Group Session #2

• May 2026 – April 2027: One-On-One Sessions #1 & #2

• April 2027: Final reports due

• May 2027: Final funding distributed ($500)
