marion ermer prize
The Marion Ermer Foundation is committed to promoting art and culture in the areas of performing and visual arts as well as music in the federal states in the area of the former GDR, with the exception of Berlin. The support is provided in particular through the awarding of art prizes. The Marion Ermer Prize has been awarded to young visual artists since 2001.
The exhibition for the Marion Ermer Prize 2025 will open on October 22, 2025 at the Museum of Fine Arts Leipzig.
The prize winners undertake to actively participate and support the exhibition in Leipzig associated with the award as well as the accompanying publication. They must also be present during the exhibition setup and dismantling and at the exhibition opening in the Museum of Fine Arts Leipzig.
