perspektive fund— fine arts

The PERSPECTIVE fund, launched in 2014, is a collaboration between the Fine Arts Department of the Institut français Germany and the Goethe-Institut. It facilitates the development of collaborative and transnational artistic initiatives between the German and French art scenes, thereby fostering a rewarding European dialogue. The fund supports institutions and cultural practitioners implementing binational collaborative projects, meaning joint projects that include presentations in France and Germany.

The projects can take the form of exhibitions, but also conferences, symposia, and traveling workshops, which may differ in form between the two countries. Participatory formats such as festivals, performances, or educational projects initiated by artists or cultural practitioners are also invited to apply.
