Venus and the Man Playing God
2021 · Playing off of Venus and the Lute Player paintings, the work calls into question gendered notions around logic vs. emotion and patient vs. doctor interactions by feminizing the medical space. The work also explores the sexualization of the femme patient through medical imagery (see wax venuses)
