Communicating the subject of gender equality in a playful way

ENTSCHUBLADUNG (*OUTBOXING = thinking out of the box) 

is a Web based project which communicates the subject of gender equality in a playful way. The campaign consists of a short Animation Trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSUmM6eDixE   which is spread over YouTube and Vimeo, and an information game. By drawing off the taste of accusation and adding a few dongs and a little humor. 
ENTSCHUBLADUNG addresses especially young people who never really dealt with these kinds of topics.

Unfortunately a lot of projects about gender issues or feminism are a little aggressive and therefore have a rather repulsive effect – at least on us. And: Do we even need feminism after all?
Aren´t we all super modern and open minded?

We do not think everyone should be the same but we believe that all of us should have the same opportunities and choices when it come to ways to live our lives.

• Großstadtkrieger No.1 •

The “Großstadtkrieger No. 1”(engl. Desperate Warrior) was once a bright and brave warrior, fearless, funny, hip, cool, productiv, optimistic, 100% up to date - until the moment he realized that he wasn’t the only bright and special creature - he was surrounded
by heaps of other warriors trying to survive in the modern big city jungle.
Some on their way up, some still struggeling, some already broken.
His mask, that once combined all the strength, that let him live for a short time in this world of acceptance, (fake) compliments and countless friendships couldn’t save him any more of feeling alone and misunderstood.
He left the army of desperate warriors, he is ready to give away his mask, and is slowly on his way back to is own roots.
More and more happy being surrounded by true colourful crazy Litte Dudes.

Spätis have become sites of social and cultural interaction, hubs of diversity. Artists have been invited to transform them into temporary exhibition spaces, each with its own flair!

Whether painted store windows, sculptures or video installations, Späti artworks will enrich the neighborhood, 24/7–during the entire month of August.


You have a whole month to rediscover local Spätis or play tourist on one of our guided tours – a SpätiSafari through Kreuzberg and Neukölln!

VISUAL MIMICS

When the species are in danger, they camouflage or take another form - more dangerous
than an enemy. They are avoiding detection or pretend to be somebody else - bigger and
stronger. It’s called mimicry.
People try to fit into today’s commercialized society. Under pressure of staying up to date
to digital age standards, people unknowingly reach for mimicry – building a distance
between their outside appearance and their personal inside.
By removing the superficial surface, reveal the personality under the mimicry mask.

TOR - Building Bridges

This is an image film commissioned by Jakob Motter, a Berliner Luthier, to promote his new Double bass designs.
Director <a href="http://www.jadupont.com/" target="_blank">Jacques-André Dupont</a> used the light to underline the fine design of the music instrument, using the videomapping technique.

The video was shown at the Copenhagen Bass Festival 2012.

11 matresses, 17 cushions, 25m silk and 7 lace curtains, miscellaneous

An old abandoned office block is transformed into a love hotel during one weekend - 14 rooms - one of them all covered with cream-colored silk, filled with cushions, cotton balls and comfort - Wolke 7.

"Über den Wolken muss die Freiheit wohl grenzenlos sein" (english Version "Over the Mountains (litterally: Clouds) freedom's moore than a word in the wind") is a pop song from 1974 of Reinhardt May, a german schlager star. It is a musical interpretation of our longing to reach freedom and leave behind earthly sorrows and troubles.

Wolke 7 materializes this dream within a "love hotel" - a place that we "sexually liberated" can face with irony and ease.

Wolke 7 will be rebuild in an exhibition in NY in Jan 14.

The berliner Startup MONOQI is an online shop which offers a handpiced selction of fine Desing objects every week. They see themselvs not only as a shop but as an inspirational guide to good design.

To introduce MONOQI to the Design scene and at the same time explain their misson, we created a decorative-urban-guerilla Sinage-System. 1000 golden Ballons guiding the visitors of the DMY Design festival from the subway to the entrance of the fair. We documented this action in this one minute clip. Team work with Dea Dantas Vögler.
