Ahmed Abunada was born in the Gaza Strip (Palestine) in
1996. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business
administration from Al-Quds Open University in Gaza.
His artistic style is characterized by hyper-expressive
realism, and lately he have tended to incorporate
modernist expressions into classical works of art. Among
his most prominent oil works are: (Warrior Journalist) - and
charcoal & pencils works (The Nakba) - (Tearless).
Abunada uses many materials in drawing, such as classic
oil paintings, charcoal paintings, comics drawings, and
digital arts to suit the ideas that he draws.
Ahmed worked at World Vision International as a drawing
trainer in 2016. He also held the position of a digital artist
since 2017 in freelance work, and worked as an art teacher
in 2023
at the British International School in Gaza.
Abunada participated in various art exhibitions in
Palestine, Italy, France and Egypt. In 2023-2024,
He is one of the members of the Hawaf art group.
Ahmed was forced to flee several times during the
genocide in his homeland, then he fled to Egypt and finally
now he resides in Sydney, Australia
