In this short movie, the main character, identified as vik 512 is floating through space and time. A force seems to guide his capsule to an unknown destination.
VIK 512 begins as a trip, where memories are mixed and become the reason for his Awakening in space.
“VIK 512” is referring to 50S and 60s science-fiction movies,such as “forbidden planet” by Fred M. Wilcox (1957), “On the Beach” by Stanley Kramer (1959) or “the time machine”(1961) and “destination Moon”(1950) by George Pal.
Very popular at the time, this science-fiction cinema echoes to the fears and questions of its time. a cinema which answers to its own aesthetic and narrative codes.

V.I.K. 512

"the burrow" is a free adaptation of the eponym novel from Franz Kafka, "Der Bau", written in 1923 In Berlin.
This novel is about the desperate actions of the half-animal, half-man first character to build himself a perfect home, wich could protect him from his invisible enemies.
In the short movie, the first character lives in fear to be attacked by an enemy, that could at any time invade his shelter. He communicates however with the outside world thanks to radio waves coming from an old cibi connected to a screen, showing codes messages such as binary code.
Even though his shelter is for him a protection, It si also what makes him vulnerable, for a precious possession is always related to the possibility of a great loss.
