The work is inspired by actual talk with my friend who once attended an art exhibition at some very contemporary museum with very weird building and he was so confused by the interior space of the building that he couldn't recall any memories about the exhibited works after that. He was lost in this modern structure which for me is very metaphorical for the contemporary situation we are living in.

The work is inspired by the human microcosmos and the connectedness with the Universum.

Stardust memories

The work is inspired by the famous painting "The Dance" by Henri Matisse, but placed in contemporary context. A group of policemen existing in Orwellian or post-Orwellian Utopian reality are dancing on the top of a surveillance camera. Is the camera still working and they are just enjoying a brief moment in which they can be human beings again?

I came up with the idea for this work while reading the short story ‘Deadeye Dick’ by Kurt Vonnegut. There is a briefly mentioned character, a painter, who couldn’t draw hands very well so he mainly drew his figures with hands in their pockets.
