Working with the discarded material, I have noticed plastic is readily available in the 
surrounding. Exploring plastic as a medium adds new and bright colours to the visual, 
entirely different from fabric and creates multiple possibilities in the current practice.
As addressed before, I use plastic as a material because it gives me bright colours 
to artwork. I observed that how tightly plastic interlocked with our surroundings. 
This inspires the tapestry formation.
I often starts working with 3-4 plastic bags, gradually whenever I saw a plastic bag 
in my surrounding spaces, I collect those bags and added it to my tapestry. And this 
is how the artwork was developed. 
It is entirely dependent on random coloured plastic bag found in near spaces. It 
creates a different perspective with the shiny surface

Inside Out

Plastic is our comfort zone; we use that material unconsciously because 
adequate substitutes for plastic were not available until now. I think art is 
a very efficient medium to create visual impact. Through art, we can be 
quickly aware, or we can introduce them to reality. We use plastic every 
day, and not every plastic gets recycled; hence, plastic waste is constantly 
increasing and will harm nature and humans. 
As a result, I'm observing sand and plastic weaved with each other every day, 
and I took inspiration from that. I have blended plastic with the Terracotta and 
rocked plastic from the front side in this work. Weaving means the interlocking 
of threads, and here I'm applying this interlocking theory to sand and plastic. 
That is because interlocking creates strength similarly to plastic was interlocked 
with our lives, and we see that everywhere. 
The plastic character adds a new dimension; the bright colour also gives an 
attractive look to hold the viewer's eyes.
Plastic material had a significant impact on our life. If there is no substitute 
for plastic, we can try to reuse that particular thing.

Piece of Land

My practice is based on bringing new life to old structures instead of tearing them 
down and create art out of what many would consider trashing. 
I work with something readily available in near surroundings, mainly discarded materials 
of everyday life, majorly fabrics that were already produced and neglected by the people. 
I work with the existing to create something new. I observed human psychology behind 
such materials and started working on personal reasons 'why we discard something?'. 
Reasons like a tattering, hole in the cloth, thread out and used things like a bandage 
used for a single time to name a few. Find the beauty in rusted structures, discarded 
fabrics, used materials is my source of inspiration.
I want to show the positive side of this material, which is barely noticed in the 
surroundings. I managed to collect those pieces and maintain the raw look, which 
was the identity of used fabrics and tried to shine a light on it using its inherent history, 
which can offer a strong starting point.
My process is not pre-planned but relies entirely on instinct. I'm committed to use only 
upcycled materials for my work
