The LimaQ residency program welcomes artists and related; national and international during the 21-day period to develop research and preproduction projects related to Andean cosmovision, pre-Inca & Inca civilizations and Lima as a point of syncretism. The objective of the program is to create an environment for cultural exchange, improve preproduction and investigation of artistic, educational, architectural projects, etc.
The residency is located in the historic district in the city of Lima, 30 minutes from the Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM). Pueblo Libre was the seat of government during the war and former hacienda of the liberators of Peru. Besides a great colonial and republican presence, the district houses valuable Inca and pre-Inca temples, as well as the two most important museums of archaeology in the country.

Accommodation in shared or private rooms for the period of residence (21D / 20N).
Weekly meetings and talk circles conducted by the residence coordinators in order to exchange information and ideas.
Weekly talks with Peruvian archaeologists specialized in the subject and cultural walks through pre-Inca temples.
Weekly workshops of pre-Inca and Inca ancestral techniques. Analysis of ancestral languages.
If the resident requires, the organization will provide the space and diffusion for resident’s workshops and / or open studio. *
The organization is committed to provide a plan of dissemination and constant information in the stages of the residency program.
