CONTEMPORARY JEWELLERY (introduction)
What does contemporary jewellery means?
Contemporary Jewellery is set between jewellery and art. It’s something else than esthetic pieces manufacturated in
order to be worn, it’s also the expression of an individual that reflects on influences, culture, feelings, knowledge,
It’s an open world in which we can apply different methods, techniques and materials.
It doesn't really have to be wearable and doesn't have to have a proper use, it's a tool able to create a story and it
makes a communication connection between the person who wears a piece of jewellery and the people who see, touch
or feel it.
At this point all our feelings can get involved in this piece, and also has an open attitude on methods, materials and
human body working area.
The distinctiveness is in the individual expression of each one.
