Directors and good friends of mine, Mikey Please & Dan Ojari have brought their stop motion expertise and design talents together for this beautifully crafted commercial for GreenVale Potatoes. Created with meticulous attention to detail and hundreds of hand painted 3D printed models, the commercial not only delivers on humour, but also on an aesthetic quality not often seen on British television.

My Time Is Now - Nike
Part of a collection of films created to coincide with the Euro 2012 Championships, featuring some of the biggest names in football across player specific films, as well as national group films.
 
Working alongside Nike’s Brand Design team, Intro animated press photographs from Nike’s Summer 2012 "My Time Is Now" brand campaign to create films that conveying each athlete’s “hunger through a lens of impatience”. The in-house Intro post-production team combined 3D & 2D animation to create explosive and fluid loops packed with strength, energy and progression – the essence of Nike’s Breaking Through creative.
 
The films were made in a variety of formats for the Nike take over even in the Zloty Tarasay Shopping Mall in Warsaw. The atrium was transformed into a football pitch, a huge LED screen was installed, high definition columns, an LED floor and interactive podiums for products. Very exciting.

Before Your Very Eyes
We’ve all come to expect Andrew Thomas Huang to deliver the mesmerising visuals, but here he’s really surpassed himself. Having filmed Thom Yorke in LA, live footage and stop frame sets were then re-worked in CG, in order to turn the singer into an Ozymandias-style statue in the desert. 

Meticulous work was then done in the BlinkInk studio, using specially written VFX programs to cope with Andrew’s vision for the design and animation. The result is an eye-melting tour of mountain ranges, crumbling cities, and psychedelic cave systems, all pulsating to the tones of Atoms for Peace. 
 
With its grainy finish and perfectly judged colour palette, there’s really nothing else like it; following his collaborations with Bjork and Sigur Ros, this is the work of a director who is truly in his stride.

The Bear & The Hare
The John Lewis Christmas campaign has become a symbol of the start of the British festive season. 2013 was no different with the creation of "The Bear & the Hare", Elliot Dear and Yves Geleyn’s heartwarming animated film for John Lewis and agency Adam & Eve DDB.

There once was an animal who had never seen Christmas. As autumn winds turn to winter snow, the bear begins his annual retreat into hibernation to sleep his way through the best part of the year. The festive spirit is strong though, and his friend the hare is determined to give him a gift he has never received before – Christmas.
