Buganza is known for the particolar figurative style: his lastest work shows no-human beings and places that tell a story of nostalgia and neglect. If the human form has been eclipsed, it’s increased the humanity of the scene: the viewer, like the painter, can only evoke the infinite, wanting the absent restlessly.

The activity of the painter brings him to work, among others, with Peter Greenaway, who commissioned him a series of paintings for the video-installation “Peopling the Palaces” at the Venaria Palace in Turin.

In 2008 he partecipates in the Venice Biennale  with the staging of “La bottega del caffe ‘” by Goldoni.

He has exposed in many solo and collective painting exhibitions in Milan, Barcelona, Bordeaux, Wingfield, Miami.

He is finalist at Donkey International Art Prize in 2015.
