Ein Selbstporträt wird von einem selbst von sich selbst ausgeführt und nicht von einem selbst von einem anderen. Die beiden ursprünglich übereinstimmenden Gesichtspunkte werden daher gespalten und aus der Synchronität des Spiegels genommen, fast so, als würde der Tod den Abzug des Bildes aus diesem Bild markieren, und die letzte Trennung zwischen der Figur und der Sache verordnen, bis auf das Verbleibende an den Rändern des Sichtfeldes.
Der Tod, der schließlich bei einem Körper angekommen ist, hebt dessen Anderssein auf, er hört auf, der Tod des anderen zu sein, um nicht ausgesprochen zu werden. Es ist das, was den irreversiblen Verzicht auf Zeit und Dinge in der unüberbrückbaren Entfernung bedeutet, die bereits zurückgelegt wurden (Jaime Saenz). Die Inszenierung dieses Abschieds (Jaime Saenz) findet in der Leere eines Raumes statt, in dem sich kaum ein Element mit wenig Konnotation widersetzt (ein Tisch, zwei Stühle, ein Kerzenhalter). Die Doppelfigur ist keine rhetorische Figur eines abschließenden Dialogs zwischen Seele und Körper oder der Ausdehnung von Momenten vor und nach dem Tod im Lichte der unglaublichen Intuition in den Versen von Cesare Pavese («Der Tod wird kommen und Deine Augen haben»). Diese einzelne Figur ist sowohl lebendig als auch tot, aufgeteilt in zwei Hälften, ist das berühmte Paradoxon der Katze und des Giftes (Erwin Schrödinger), das hier mit den Mitteln der Poesie aufgeführt wurde, um zu zeigen, dass das Selbst mit dem anderen im Tod zusammenfällt.

My feeling on the poems is that they are a cohesive set, yet each has its own identity. How much time the reader spends with each is up to them, but they might spend hours, or seconds, with each or with all. How rare is a clear control of the pansemic aesthetic? Essentially it seems as though Federico’s poems are often the evocation of a structure evading itself, an exact match to what Mingus declared his piece was about – a ten minute tone poem. Certainly in terms of actual construction Federico is also providing a score, a rescoring of that which been unscored. Here is metaphorical language without semantics. Ambiguous detail activating the poetic. The work is remarkable precisely because it works in a graceful, familiar space to do often stark and unfamiliar things. Like jazz that absorbs sound. This feels to me a faithful act towards listening and the intention towards possibility and inspiration. The roll, the smudge, the dead signature. The cut in the scrawl. The squig. The line, cards and bled ink. Sounds on paper.

Over the almost three decades the wall stood in Berlin, it was referred to as Antifaschistischer Schutzwall by the authorities of the German Democratic Republic, a legitimate concrete curtain incubating the socialist state. While from the East Berlin side it soon became the dull edge of the death strip, from the West Berlin side it often served as a natural, urban canvas for politically engaged graffiti art, claiming freedom for all. When every ideology needs a precise vision of the world to be conveyed, these pages state a well pondered sense of annihilation rather than of revelation, avoiding any speculation on icons and mass culture. The debris of the wall are the latest generation of the wall itself.

The way I discovered the Berlin wall has fallen

The “Not a still frame” project addresses the procedure of building/destroying memory debris within human brain, while exploring the subtle connections between eyes and brain. 
If, according to Euclid's Elements, the solution of Heron's shortest distance problem is a straight line, the shortest path between any two moments is a seeming still frame.
