I paint when I feel like it. I make music when I get the urge to. 

For me, pragmatism is meditation. I make art, occasionally entering a trance-like state where time and space cease to exist. This is my 'nirvana'. 

During Corona-times I will continue to do so, updating my Instagram each day with another image. I will keep fighting; keep connecting; keep dreaming.

Pressure can be debilitating, but it can be a motivator. Use it if you can. And if you shy away from pressure, then don't let it negatively affect you. Make when you want to make. And if you don't feel like it, go for a walk instead (at a socially responsible distance). 

Halt die Ohren steif. We shall overcome.

Six feet of Fabriano (paper) hangs over a balcony in a flat in Manchester - the old atelier. A secret mixture of acrylic paint (and other things) is poured over the top of the paper and left to drip down, a black, viscous wave, lava creeping toward the ground, creating an incidental piece of artwork with only a semi-controllable aesthetic end. 

Thus, abstraction is found.

I invite the viewer to interpret my work as they want; to decide the rest for themselves.
