Throughout history, jewelry craft used creativity, precision, and hands to provide a luxury object as a social ranking symbol.
The tool as a hand extension was used to create and shape the surrounding objects. Nowadays, modern tools are becoming more and more autonomous, shaping and defining our reality by influencing our minds.
"Melting fruits of the earth" is a series about a small jewelry workroom from Romania, the atmosphere, workers, and the overall vision of a classic hand-craft diapering art. The workshop still uses old tools specific to the Eastern-European side, from an old oven that melts the gold to a wild rabbit paw for cleaning it. To create marvelous pieces of jewelry there is a permanent connection between the mind-hands-creativity-soulcraft.
