Horizons 2027 | Arts-Nature

Horizons ‘Arts-Nature’ in Sancy, scheduled from 19 June to 26 September 2027, is calling for works of ephemeral plastic works created specifically for the Massif du Sancy open-air art exhibition.

The call for projects launched by the Sancy Tourist Office is for the creation of 10 artworks to be installed across the towns and villages of the Massif du Sancy local council community.

First and foremost, this event aims to be an enduring project with a regional flavour that will unite communities and local cultural and tourism partners. The exhibits will be installed at sites that help to highlight the natural surroundings.

Potential sites for the installation of the artworks will be chosen on the basis of the following criteria:

• The aesthetic and artistic qualities of the site;

• The diversity of locations available;

• The proximity of facilities providing access and welcoming visitors.

The sites are made available for the duration of the event. These may be private or municipal properties, with or without the presence of the owner/farmer. They consist mostly of farmland devoted to summer grazing with the presence of cattle, sheep or horses, or to crops that are cut during the season.
