BERLIN — Entretempo Kitchen Gallery is pleased to announce WHERE THE WHITE THINGS ARE, the debut Berlin exhibition of Hungarian designer and ceramic artist Eszter Imre. 
WHERE THE WHITE THINGS ARE features a unique collection of ceramics and jewelry inspired by the sensory experience of eating. With a title playfully referring to Imre's all-white collection, the works on display use the very objects—including teacups, bowls, and spoons—that make up the circumstances in which we eat. 
Eszter Imre is a Hungarian designer and ceramic artist living and working in Sweden. Already well known for her brand imreszti, she works somewhere between the borders of art, crafts and design. Imre designs one-of-a-kind pieces that favor her most beloved material, porcelain, and explores its natural aesthetic possibilities. Using her multi-disciplined background, Imre creates objects out of her love for the material, their functionality, and the experience of their unique use rather than for shapes alone. The results are designs that visually describe functions with elegance and simplicity. Her collections Coffee Latte and Table-Wear in particular present an interesting take on designing for food and elevating tableware to jewelry.  
WHERE THE WHITE THINGS ARE is curated by artist and cook Tainá Guedes. Entretempo Kitchen Gallery is an interdisciplinary art gallery researching and exploring food in a cultural and design context. Featuring exhibitions, lectures and food workshops, Entretempo shines a spotlight on the political and social impact of food as a manifestation of history, sociology, geography, science, philosophy and communication.
