Hello, I’m Jill Barnes-Dacey ... and I love to create beautiful objects.

Home for most of my life has been Rome.  

My particular fascination and work as an artist is with collage and double-sided decoupage on paper and glass.

*THE PROJECT  

It then occurred to me (dare I call it insight?) to do something dramatic with fine porcelain.  

Who says dinner should be just one pattern, repeated endlessly. Why not a kaleidoscope of colour and imagery!  

Why not re-invent the whole presentation? Someone once said, “hunger hungers for more than fuel."  

Why not make the dining room table something of an art exhibition? 

So, that’s what I’ve done (though it’s easier said then done! )  

It’s taken 13 years to gather exotic images and design themes and compositions that fascinate and yet work together harmoniously.  

And then finding a world class manufacturer of fine porcelain who would be willing to work with me in developing something unprecedented.  

I've found them, and we've done it. 

Now I must meet the minimum ordering quantity. 

That’s €55.000 - to produce a limited edition of the 24 designs that constitute the Rome Collection.  

That unleashes it. Or more accurately, you unleash it.
