Tassia Quirino

Brazilian filmmaker and visual artist based in Berlin.
Born in São Paulo in 1989. She has been active in independent film since graduating from FAAP University (2011) and has directed three short films: "Strangers" (2009), made during the directing course at USC (University of Southern California) in Los Angeles; the documentary "Thread in Blue" (2011), film awarded at the Asolo Art Film Festival and selected in several film festivals; "Home Sweet Home" (2014), selected to Cinerama BC International Film Festival (2014) and awarded at The Walkers Festival, event promoted by Johnnie Walker and Belas Artes Movie Theater.
More recently, she started her career as a visual artist and is now taking part in collective exhibitions.
