Originally from Melbourne, I lived in Edinburgh from 2008-12, where I founded Contemporary Art Exchange - a curatorial platform exploring the concept of “exchange” – of thoughts, ideas; the exchange of experiences or skills; and physical exchange such as travel and how this operates within a contemporary art context. In 2010, I curated ‘Neither Here Nor There’ at The Old Ambulance Depot, Edinburgh, examining cultural identity and place, and ‘Life: Death: Edinburgh: And:’ exploring travel, spirituality, social change, physical and cultural displacement. ‘Through the Looking Glass Dimly’ was an international collaboration project with two vision impaired artists for Edinburgh Art Festival.
