His research has led him to experiment with materials: creating his paintings by in turn juxtaposing dried layers of acrylics on canvas or constructing these disembodied sheets of paint as stand-alone pieces. In 2014 he created his own vegan tempera recipe and in 2015 he worked with several materials and scales, combining monochrome, abstraction and figures. Currently he is experimenting 3D irregular schape pieces and testing surfaces with glaze and other ceramic tecniques.
