Benjamin Langholz has been living in Tokyo for the past 2 years to study Kinbaku under Kinoko Hajime. He is very interested in the natural high that is possible to create through rope and focuses his style around intensifying that feeling. Not only does he tie people, but he also experiments with shaping spaces to convey aspects of the natural high that comes from being tied to visitors entering the space. He has taught workshops around the world in Japan, South Africa, Isreal, Germany, Denmark, Spain, and America. He has made installations in several international galleries as well as artworks at Midburn, Burning Man, and AfrikaBurn. He has recently arrived to Berlin, and is in the process of setting up his own studio here. You can see images of his work on his website
