The first collaboration between painter Suz.﻿ and photographer pasdutoutencore﻿. 

Our skin is where our dreams, memories, frustration and pain are recorded definitely. 
Our own story, voluntarily or accidentally. We tattoo ourselves to remember something or someone and scars reflect an experience which you can choose to show or hide. 
Our aim is to read the skin, to immortalize our life through photography and painting.

A picture of you, without a word, even without a look from you, just an intimate confidence. Smooth skin, new skin or skin that says nothing, doesn't interest us. We want tattoos, scars, premature wrinkles, burns… 

We want to know the story that exists behind each one of us and you, reviewing it and describing it from our own perspective through photography and painting. We will try, each in our own way, to transcribe your story modestly.

Artist from Berlin is a point of meeting, creation, connection and a virtual gallery that gives support to different creators settled in Berlin.

This project is born with pasdutoutencore to hands of Raquel Olivas, freelance photographer who has evolve from the most conceptual photography, speaking across the objects, up to practice as portrayer. It is in the latter point where it wakes up the need to create a website that gain force as independent project showing the artist in full creative process.

Cristina García (direction and write contents in Algunas Plantas Raras) adds to the project introducing the creators through a brief writing with references and links to their websites.

Artist from Berlin is consolidated as a web dedicated to the virtual sponsorship where the creators announce them and establishes connection with the artists of their own city.

The dark side

The moon, a satellite.
Probably only it will be only this, but with a curious attribute; a secret side.
A face, where to protect anything and to protect yourself. A nearby place and simultaneously mysterious. An unknown and shaded place.
This secret side is an identical place which possess each of us, the asteroids that as the moon, we turn on us themselves.

Inspired by Pablo Picasso's portrait by Irving Penn, (Cannes 1957) I was looking for the dark side of everyone.
