dragonfly exhibition and performance
After a bright, positive and colorful “PINK” exhibition AVE22 MetaGallery would like to invite artists to ponder on how short life and beauty are.
Please welcome to participate in our “Dragonfly” open call - an exhibition and a performance in one.
OVERVIEW
Dragonflies are one of the most beautiful creatures on Earth.
Their lifespan though in the order of five weeks or less, and some survive for only a few days.
We are going to do something similar to the artworks at this exhibition.
All the artworks that we will exhibit will be minted as NFTs (non-fungible tokens) by us, AVE22.
We will list in the description that your artwork was created by you.
All the artworks will be listed without prices - just as exhibits that cannot be bought.
At the end of the exhibition we will destroy all the NFTs that participated in it.
They will disappear from the gallery.
They will disappear from the blockchain.
To complete this performance we think it might make sense to destroy the original but we will not insist. At least any relation to participating artworks will vanish.
With this performance we would like to emphasize the fragility of beauty, its short lifespan, its insecurity from the outer world.

EXHIBITION DATES

On February 21, 2024 all the artwork NFTs will be destroyed.
ELIGIBILITY
Artists have to be over 21 years old.
Any medium could be submitted to the open call. However, 3D artworks have to be provided as 3D models; please contact us for details.
If you wish to submit video art, the files have to be less than 45Mb.
For 2D artworks please submit 1 or 2 artworks in .jpg or .png format, not more that 5 Mb per artwork.
For non-digital art please submit good quality photos - just as you would like to see them in the gallery.

COPYRIGHT
Artists guarantee that they have created the submitted works and that they hold full and sole ownership for these works.
Artists retains the sole ownership and copyright for the images.
After the end of the exhibition the AVE22 MetaGallery ensures that the works are no longer exhibited at the gallery address first mentioned above.

Entry is free.
Participation fee is 25 USD.

- Please fill in and submit the form at https://forms.gle/T71PKdwC2SZ5kk5R6 . The images should be in .jpeg or .png format, each image no larger than 5 MB. Please name your artwork images in the format "Your Name_Artwork Title”. In case you have any issue in handling the form, would you please let us know at ave22official@gmail.com.
