I still am 

A bit bitterer and hit by life but I still am. 
Quite very broken and a little sadder as  I once loved
Disappointed and rather tired as  twice I fought 
Dreadfully collapsed and without faith as I thrice believed 
Quite nostalgic just a bit as joy has been here

I have noticed here inside there still is something that remains 
It is damaged and  well  hungry    but at least alive
I am exhausted but ought to fight for it if want to stay…
It’s called myself.


I STILL AM 

We are separated, not alone. 
The social distancing we are facing at the present sometimes makes us feel lonely; we are separated, not alone is a reminder that we are only physically distant but we are in this together and that’s how we will get through.

Instant explores the greatness of the ephemeral moments that define our identity as people. I believe now more than ever we must treasure the moment we spend with our loved ones and share the best us to them. This piece is the abstraction of a wave and I believe that this situation, as the waves seem massive but soon it will pass and we will have learned from it. Surfers say the bigger the wave the better the surf and I think that is absolutely right. 
In this work, I took a bit up light and dynamic elements of post-pictorial expressionism and re-interpreted them in my own way when handling ceramic material.

Savages is a collection of rocking animals which main goal is to provide a safe and recreational element to children and at the same time; to help develop their psychomotor skills as well as their imagination and respect towards animals.

SAVAGES

Walking spider an espresso set inspired in the abstraction of a Daddy Long Legs spider and when you assemble the 2 cups it resembles a walking spider. 

I focused on the sophisticated movement spiders do when they walk. As for the material; I want to show  the way ceramics can be shaped in order to play with the expression of forms through design. 

I chose a Daddy Long Legs as an inspiration because it is  the friendliest spider I know, I am not very fond of spiders to be fair but I am very impressed with the role they play within the environment, so I believe that  if we get used to the idea that spiders are not necessarily evil we will be more careful not to kill them but get them back to the garden or put them in a plant. 

Walking Spider

This installation was made for the PULSAR FESTIVAL 7B (a  local beer in Mexico. ) The masks were made for people to take photos with it.
The installation aims at people to gather together and celebrate the moment. 
The project was the abstraction of some elements from a  local festivity in San Luis Potosí 



We Matter

The Flowers' Ball is a tour through the abstraction of the Flora from San Luis Potosi, I researched the flowers in the State of San Luis Potosí helped by the biologist Monica Jimenez, after that, I analysed the info collected and synthesised it in the abstraction of a selection made to reflect it in a collection of 26 sculptures made out of Ceramics, here are the details.
