The space-time is an all-encompassing container, where everything is next to each other in a holistic sense. There is a strange feeling of frozen time. Past, present and future are indistinguishable. A series of multidisciplinary correspondences are converging into a beautiful network of pure and basic information beyond geographical, political and linguistic borders. The importance of the less intuitive aspects of our reality: quantum gravity, teleportation, entanglement, augmented reality, time travel, cosmology and biodiversity. The result of an unusual correlation between theoretical physics, informatics and contemporary art.

Oh art, oh science. The deeper you look, the closer they are!
They’re two slopes of the same mountain, a wave and its crest, a coin and its back, you can’t have one without the other; you look for one, and find the other one!
Just came up with this while thinking how to describe this collaboration with Luca Pozzi: his work has so much to do with both these fields, and his passion keeps it all together like the seamless loop of a tennis ball.

The STATEMENT is basically Marco’s visualization of Luca’s words. We deal with concepts like space-time, quantum gravity, cosmology, and we dive in them until we find ourselves in another dimension, from which we look back at it again, and the good news is: it’s all just begun!

Statement

I had a pleasure to work on a quite interesting topic: this formula is a summary of all known theoretical physics condensed into a single equation! Although it doesn't have a concrete everyday use for physical purposes, it contains everything we currently know about nature at the most basic level; it also is a contribution to the most prominent scientists that during this last century made incredible discoveries in the quanutm mechanics field.

I took the freedom to recreate the planet we live in, in many styles.
Source flat images are from NASA archive; interpolations and stylefinding is done in Cinema4d + AfterEffects.
It was indeed a lot of fun, a constant process of learning about cg techniques, as well as our very home!

Getting lost

So we have this process, called life, it's aware of itself, it's aware of itself through you, you are an instrument through which the Universe looks at itself.
The Universe is looking at itself through you, and because of this there is always an aspect of itself that it can't see.
Like a snake pursuing his own tale.
That's what we find as we investigate the Universe:
Make the microscope bigger and bigger, and we will find ever more minute things;
Make the telescope bigger and bigger, and the Universe expands, because it's running away from itself;
It won't do that if you don't chase it!
You cannot take the whole of it, but you can get rid of it!
People around you will do the utmost to persuade you that you are missing something, because they are missing something and they think they are getting it, through a certain way; and therefore, to assure theirselves, they like you to do it too!

The Wind

We think of time as a one way motion from the past, through the present, and on into the future
We think that we are driven along the current of time
We think that present is the result of our past
BUT.
When the Big Bang happened, at that time it was present time, as this moment is also present time.
It was "NOW" before as much as it is "NOW" now.
A flame burns, and each second a flame is the "object" flame and indeed each second is a different shape and different gas particles. 
The flame is an EVENT which IS every instant
What we call past is just a different fragment of the same EVENT. 
We live in an ETERNAL PRESENT MOMENT.
AND.
Look at a boat moving over water and leaving smooth wakes.
The wake, fading out, tells us where the boat has been
just as our memory of the past tells us what we have done
BUT.
The wake doesn't drive the ship,
just as our past doesn't drive our present.
We insist in being determined by the past, 
but this is our choice.
The fact is that it all starts now, every moment.
but we like to establish a connectivity with the past, because that gives to other people the impression that we are "sane" - at least in our society.
