I got inspired by my friends. They saw me wearing this red head-band and Blue Levi's jacket and started teasing me that I looked like Rosie. So the very next day I got a piece of yellow cardboard and became Rosie. Slightly changing the slogan though. For me life is not abou can or can't, it's about strong wish to achieve something. So, I WILL do it :)

A tribute to one one of my favourite artists. His work  'Absinthe drinker' inspired me to create this self portrait. Reconstructing my kitchen to create a new space, using natural light from the window, seeing myself from a new perspective.

Sunday shooting on the rooftop with a beautiful girl I met at the party. One of those fantastic faces you just have to photograph. Pure beauty. Natural, honest, young.

 This is my interpretation of flying. While working on the concept I was in Paris and I decided to use the most photographed symbol of the city in the most ridiculous way. What can be more ridiculous than a bird that can't fly? Or how about a grilled chicken that flies in front of the Eiffel tower? Absurdity became the key to my concept. Fun was a side-effect. All pictures were shot on Ilford 35mm + Olympus OM10 and manually printed in the darkroom. I chose a leporello as a way to present it. Handmade, the texture of the cover reminds of birds' plumage.

This book was made during the class of free design & design thinking. The topic given to us was "My sky". We could interpret it in any way we felt like. synaesthesia [ˌsɪnɪsˈθiːzɪə] - the production of a sense impression relating to one sense or part of the body by stimulation of another sense or part of the body. During the very first brainstorm sessions it became clear to me that for this project I wanted to use my natural feeling of colour-synesthesia. I've been having this colour-thinking thing since I remember my self. Letters, numbers, days of the week, months, names, etc. would have a certain colour in my head. So for this project I would use this synesthesia feeling. First I was exploring the colour blue in its different cases. But then I realised that at the moment 'My sky' for me would be the sky of Berlin, of my new home. So I wrote a very short essay about my feelings to it, converted each letter of the alphabet into the colour I see it, and then manually changed each letter of my essay to create a colour vision of my feelings. Final peace: I took the first sentence of my text and created new colour shapes for each word. Meaning I'd use my personal colour system to create a new code in colour shapes. In the book I used a lot of transparent materials, sensitive paper, because I do have a strong feeling to textures and I'm sure that they help to get the understanding of the concept. Light. Airy. Personal.

My sky

This project was a study on human vulnerability after the most intimate moment we have with ourselves in our daily life – after taking a shower. A ritual, a routine, an act of cleaning. Entire series consists of 12 images.
