Anlässlich des 9ten JUBILÄUMS der Reihe PARTY ARTY stellt der Kunstraum Kreuzberg / Bethanien eine breite Auswahl von KünstlerInnen aus, die in den letzten neun Jahren die Berliner Klubnächte mit ihren Arbeiten veredelt haben.
Seit neun Jahren vereint die Klubreihe PARTY ARTY bildende Künste, Musik und Bühnenliteratur in rauschenden Festen. Bei der Kuration interessiert dabei nie, ob die KünstlerInnen aus dem Urban Art Kontext stammen oder einen akademischen Hintergrund haben, ob die DJs und Bands HipHop oder Elektro spielen und die Wort-Artisten Poetry oder Short Stories vortragen: 
„Kunst kommt zuallererst von Haltung!“, postuliert der PARTY ARTY DIKTATOR Yaneq dogmatisch. „Kunst ist keine Demokratie. Kunst ist eine Diktatur und ich bin hier Diktator!“ So lädt er ein, wer ihm gefällt.

Shutter jaw snap steady. Julio Rölle and Otto Baum red handed – caught in the painting cypher mechanics locked on the beat running on repeat. Visceral visual poetics ephemeral. Just press play!

We met with 44flavours (Julio Rölle & Sebastian Bagge) at their new studio in Kreuzberg to celebrate their move-in. They painted the whole wall without any sketches in 5 hours. 3058 pictures and lots of beer later we were done.

4010 Store Gallery Wall (KLUB7 x Gogoplata)

So Undead! is an exhibit about making connections between seemingly unrelated genres: Extreme Guitar Music ie. Punk, Metal and HC and the endless shades of Electronica. The art that will be shown at the event is wholly based on interviews conducted with artists, who in the past have dabbled in guitar distortion and are currently masters of the art of the synthetic. The interviewees include: Mary Anne Hobbs, Robot Koch (Jahcoozi), Cristian Vogel (Super Collider), T.Raumschmiere, Lars Kirchbach (Tolcha), Vladislav Delay, The Foreign Beggars, CREEP, Sneaky (Fingathing), The Bug etc.
The interviews will be presented as a series of book panels designed and illustrated by 44flavours, Nathan Menglesis and Margarita Rojas, and a video installation prepared by director Pol Ponsarnau. Additionally Robot Koch, Cristian Vogel and Sneaky will be playing an eclectic mixture of Garage, Punk, Metal and Electronica.
The project was curated by Lukasz Polowczyk & 44flavours.
