Lee and Kunakornwong met in Bangkok (BKK), Thailand at the end of 2019. Kunakornwong (who recently moved back to Thailand after a few years living in London) and Lee (who also recently moved back to South Korea after years of living in New York and Berlin) made an instant connection. One long night in BKK, hanging out amongst many local young artists, Lee and Kunakornwong made an impromptu collaborative drawing on Lee's sketchbook. Everybody watched, with their cigarets and beer, as if it was a performance art. After Lee returned to Jeju Island, they have been continuing their friendship and artistic exploration through what Lee calls "Drawing Conversation."
