Franziska Harnisch studied in Greifswald, Hildesheim and Braunschweig and is master student of Thomas Rentmeister. Her artistic practice includes areas and interfaces of conceptual art, of live, urban and social art and digital art as curatorial techniques like open calls.
Since 2009, Franziska Harnisch's works have been continuously shown by art associations, project spaces and at festivals, both nationally as well as internationally.
In 2019 she received the EUCIDA Travel Award, a scholarship from the artist village Schöppingen and a
Scholarship Q21 Artist in Residence at paraflows.
Franziska Harnisch is a founding member of KUNSTRAUM 53 (Hildesheim), curated the project space Vitrine01 (Berlin) in 2017 - 2019 and is currently running the raum on demand in the Alte Münze Berlin. She is a member of the BBK Berlin, medienkunst e.V. and the network of Berlin project spaces and initiatives.
