NORDIC LEIPZIG In partnership with LIA (Leipzig International Art Programme), the Goethe-Institute offers Nordic artists the opportunity to take up a three-month residency at the Cultural Centre Spinnerei Leipzig. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Spinnerei was Europe’s largest cotton mill, today it is one of the most exciting places for the production and exhibition of contemporary art and culture in Germany.

The Goethe-Institut, in partnership with LIA Leipzig International Art Programme, is inviting proposals from visual artists based in Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Scotland, and Sweden who would like to take up a three-month residency at the Spinnerei Leipzig. NORDIC LEIPZIG offers time for reflection, research, practice, and professional networking opportunities.
