scholarships for youth after school programs

Gifts to the PMA Education Department Scholarship Fund support opportunities for children to attend a program they may not otherwise be able to afford. We believe it is important to provide affordable community access to quality visual arts education.

Thanks to generous support from Bill McKee in memory of Martha McKee, PMA is thrilled to announce the creation of a new scholarship fund! Thank you for being an essential partner in our efforts. With your contribution, we can provide increased access to visual arts education in our community. A donation of $250.00 will provide a full scholarship for one semester of Afterschool Art. Any amount you can give is appreciated.

Deadline to Apply: Tuesday, January 3 by 11:59pm

Program Begins: Thursday, January 12, 2023

 Afterschool Art program: Every Thursday, 3:30-5:00pm until May 4, 2023 Grades 1-5 * Funding is limited. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need and student's interest in the visual arts. Applications will be reviewed on January 4, 2023 and applicants will be notified before the program starting date. Accepted students must have transportation to and from the PMA, and are expected to attend class on a regular basis.
