VS Chicago offers scholarships to Jewish students residing in the Chicago metropolitan area (including Lake County, Indiana). Eligible applicants must: were either born and raised in Chicago area or one continuous year of full-time employment in the Chicago metro area prior to enrollment; plan on remaining in the Chicago area after completing school; are entering an accredited graduate program in a helping profession (see website for eligible majors) on a full-time basis for the upcoming academic year or are entering their junior or senior year of an accredited bachelor’s degree program in a helping profession on a full-time basis for the upcoming academic year; demonstrate financial need and career promise; and, are able to interview between March 1 and April 20.
