We invite artists working with AI, algorithms, or computational processes to submit proposals for Artificial Lines of Flight—an upcoming exhibition probing the political force of uncertainty, absurdity, and algorithmic aesthetics in a time marked by desperation and indifference.
Artificial Lines of Flight takes inspiration from Gilles Deleuze’s concept of the _ligne de fuite_—a line of escape, of transformation, of rupture from systems of power, structure, and sense. In this context, the exhibition considers how AI and algorithmic creativity can enact such a line of flight: not only by generating uncanny, absurd, or surprising artefacts, but by unsettling the norms of authorship, aesthetics, and intention. This is not merely an exploration of machine creativity, but a call to consider what emerges when collaboration with machines embraces uncertainty as a condition for political potential.
