Open Call: bb11 Curatorial Workshop

bb11 Curatorial Workshop for early career curators, educators and other practitioners, on the occasion of the 11th Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art. Taking place in close dialogue with the 11th Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art, the bb11 Curatorial Workshop will be reconfigured this year. In response to current limitations on travel, as well as to the urgency of strengthening support structures, networks and safety nets, the bb11 Curatorial Workshop call for applications will not go out internationally, but to Berlin-based early career curators, educators and other practitioners (regardless of age), who are first-generation or second-generation newcomers to Berlin and who come from the Rising Majority or from situations characterized by a lack of support.

Xi·Art Museum Generative Project 2020-2021

The Xi·Art Museum Generative Project is an important and fundamental component of the development of the Xi·Art Museum. Different from the regular operating model of art museums, the Generative Project focuses more on open, growing, and participatory art practices and field research processes. Through long-term exchanges and cooperation with domestic and international artists, the Generative Project roots artistic creations in specific natural fields and contexts, where the creative works will be permanently preserved and displayed.

Opulent Mobility 2020 Call for Art

Call for art of all mediums that re-imagines disability, mobility, and access as opulent and powerful. The entry fee has been waived, and there is no charge to artists for any sales made during the course of the exhibit. This exhibit is co-curated by A. Laura Brody and Anthony Tusler. Due to the global pandemic, the exhibit will be held online starting December 5th, 2020.

2021 Dreamin’ Montue Open Call

MoNTUE is looking for experimental and multidisciplinary art creations, to explore the potentiality of the museum’s future with them.

Provided Resources

  1. Selected artist(s) will be given part of the exhibition galleries on 2F/3F/B1 in the MoNTUE to work with.
  2. Artist could use equipment and facilities in the museum.
  3. Museum would provide related exhibition support for the artist.
  4. Promotional materials for the exhibition include posters, MoNTUE website, Facebook, etc.
  5. Selected applicant(s) would have upper limited NTD 250,000 production fee.

“Artistas Welcome”: Calling Pan-Latinxs in the Kitchen 4 Dl X 4 Ep: 1x/mo.

The LaLove’s Kitchen (“L❤️K”) ArtsTeam is a loose and cross-functional guerrilla-family of Berlin-based Latinx-born creative libertines (and artrepreneurs) where emotionography and cuisine blend into time-based art
and cultural entertainment.

They promote cross-cultural-commonality interaction within-between artists and commensals through a multi-and inter-arts program that fuses live cooking menu, musicale, community-building through spoken words, and others.
