Frequently asked questions about ArtConnect.
How do I create a profile?
First, click ‘log in’ in the upper right corner of the page. You will then be provided with a set of sign-in options: Google, Facebook, Twitter, email or phone. Choose your preference and input the relevant login details. Based on which sign-in option you choose, you will receive an automated message with a link. Once you click this link you’ll be brought to a profile form on the site, which you can fill in with info about you — name, bio, website, email, profile photo, skills. With your profile complete, you’re now ready to create and publish posts. Click ‘Publish’ in the upper right corner and select the type of post you’d like to create (event, opportunity, project) to get started.
How do I edit my profile?
After you are logged in, you can either hover over your name in the right corner on the navigation bar and then choose ‘edit current profile’ or go to your profile and click on ‘Edit Profile’ under your profile picture.
How many projects can I upload to my profile?
You can upload as many projects as you want to your profile. However, we recommend that you treat your ARTCONNECT profile like a portfolio, which means that you should take the time to select and curate the work you feature.
How many pictures can I upload for each project?
There is a limit of 10 images per project.
What image settings should I use when uploading my projects?
You can upload JPG, GIF, and PNG. We recommend using at least a 1600x 1080px (3×2 ratio) image that‘s no larger than 7MB.
How do you manage the copyright of my images?
You have the copyright to your images. However, by publishing your work on ArtConnect, you give us the right to distribute, modify, and publish your work on our platforms. For example, this means that we can feature your work on our Social Media Channels and our Magazine. If you want to know more, you can read our full terms.
Adding a listing on ArtConnect
How do I upload a listing?
Sign in and click ‘Publish’ to the right in the navigation bar, and then you can choose what type of listing you want to upload.
How long does it take until my listing (event, open call, residency) is approved and can be online?
As soon as you publish your listing, you will be able to see it on the ArtConnect website.
How do I edit my listing?
From your profile, you can quickly get an overview of all your listings. Click on the listing you want to edit, and inside the listing, you find the edit button directly under the date.
The information on a listing is not correct. What should I do?
If you are the event organizer you can easily edit the information yourself. If you are not the organizer, but still involved and noticing a mistake, we recommend you to contact the organizer with your input or send us an email at email@example.com.
How can I generate more views on my listing?
The best way to gain traction for your listing is to fill it out with all necessary information, pick appealing and representative images, complete your ArtConnect profile, and stay active on the platform. If you post regularly on ArtConnect, it’s more likely that we will notice your listings and feature them on our Social Media and Newsletter.
How many pictures can I upload per listing?
You can include 10 photos in your listing.

How can I get featured on your magazine?

Do you accept submissions for your magazine?
We run regular calls for submissions in which we feature text and visuals from the ArtConnect community. If you are an artist who wants to be featured, this could be a good option for you.

Is it possible to do a sponsored article in your magazine?
Email us at email@example.com with your request, and we will get back to you with pricing if your sponsored article idea fits ArtConnect values.
Why am I getting your newsletter?
You were either added to the list by signing up to ArtConnect in the past. Or you have added your email to one of the newsletter subscription boxes spread across the website.
How do I unsubscribe to the newsletter?
At the bottom of the newsletter, you have the option to unsubscribe.
