In our art classes, you will have the opportunity to bring out your creative potential through different art forms such as drawing, painting, collage or photography. The talented artist Tahian Behring and other guest artists will lead you through different modules to enhance your creative skills.
MODULE 1: DRAWING CLASS | Figurative to Abstract
For the first module, you will be introduced to the basics of figure and abstract drawing supported by individual and group exercises. In each weekly session, you will learn and experiment with the fundamentals of composition, perspective, line value, shadow and light, and will exercise figure, still life, nature and abstract forms.
WHAT YOU GET:
- Private tutoring with an artist with more than 10 years of collective studio practice, including giving drawing, painting, photography and printmaking classes.
- Participate in regular weekly classes to practice, discover and exchange experiences on creating art.
- Tips and insights on how to develop your artistic research, both technically as well as conceptually.

Material is included in the price (boards, different white and tone papers, charcoal, different soft B pencils and erasers). You can bring your own drawing materials as well.

ABOUT TAHIAN BEHRING
He is a visual artist who works with different media from painting to video art. He holds a BA in Fine Arts for the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), with further artistic studies at Visual Arts School of Parque Lage. His goal during his classes is to give students the tools to learn all different aspects of creation which go beyond just the techniques.
