This painting was created during the quarantine. It expresses when I was just waiting for the day to end. For something to happen, to change. The dark thoughts, over the days, take all the space in my mind. Everyday was looking the same. But, then, one day I realized that the change is also in our mind, and not just in the rest, not in waiting for something to happen for itself. So, this figure in the painting is waiting, hiding in the dark but what she doens’t notice is that the light is just in front of her.  So, in a way, I still am...waiting for the light to come towards me.

The monsters in my head started invading my room
