Fellow artists, I am part of a venture aiming to create an online patron platform especially tailored to support visual artists. The idea is to make it possible for artists to earn an income by giving them the chance to acquire a number of monthly subscribers who in exchange for their patronage would receive a letter-sized or postcard-sized original by the artist in the mail. Key features of the platform:
- It will be exclusively for visual artists
- No fees will be charged to the participating artists at any point
- This will be a curated platform ensuring aesthetic coherence and discoverability for the artists.
Right now we are at the market research stage and have created a survey for artists to take in order to test our idea. I would like to invite you to take this survey and help prototype this project.
