These three films were made as part of theatre project Circus WTF - A show which deconstructs the form and performance of circus. As part of my research I interviewed and spent time with four Berlin based circus performers. We chatted about the compromises one must make to work in circus and in particular what it means to be a woman working in circus. We talked about bodies and babies, stereotypes and aging, fulfillment and finances, circus and art.
