Wanted: 
I want to put together an arts project in Berlin (see text below) and am looking for:

- Collaboration partners
- Sponsorship for accommodation in Berlin for ca. 4 weeks
- Choreographer

Sponsorship doesn't have to be money, neccesarily. I'd be happy to couchsurf or stay with a host.

  As a photographer I'm curious as to what moves people. Their rythms, their absurdities. And their beauty. Not just of the professional dancers! The Berlin community is a vibrant place with lots of different cultures. 

In Dancing in your footsteps, I shall invite people from the international community to think of the one reason why they would dance, and to give the smallest danceperformance in the world: on a piece of carpet of 1 square meters. 

At the end of the project I shall have made at least 80 photographs- small diamonds of portraits- on large scale canvasses -of people dancing their innermost happy thought! 

They are not just pretty pictures. Underneath lie depths of character and culture, I will try to capture. What will be lost in the picture? All I know is that I tried to stage and capture the emotion, while it was there! A mix of staged- and documentary photography.

But there is more to come! The dancers all will be invited- with their 1 sq meter carpet, to perform the strangest dance you've ever seen: at least 80 different dances next to eachother, made into one performance by a professional choreographer... somewhere in Berlin.
