I implement social and political themes into athletic frameworks in order to critique neoliberal mentalities of the body, competition, productivity, and labour. I see the body as a tool for education, empowerment, and stimulation of the mind, and offers this perspective to others through high-performance performances and research, which encourages participation, activation, and resistance.
I completed an MFA in "Public Art and New Artistic Strategies" at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar (2016) and a BFA in Visual Art from the University of British Columbia (2010). I have exhibited and performed in various exhibitions, festivals and unconventional situations internationally. I'm also the initiator and artistic director of the bike tour/art festival Art Spin Berlin, shortlisted for DER SPIEGEL Online's Social Design Award in 2016.
I'm always interested in connecting with new people to collaborate and share ideas, as well as with curators and institutions to develop new projects. Get in touch for my CV or portfolio.
