The Rest Is Noise is a PR & Communications company that handles extensive and high level PR campaigns for music releases, festivals, events and brands.
The Rest Is Noise is looking for an experienced PR to work across the music releases arm of the company, which includes singles, albums, video seeding and bespoke projects spanning techno, experimental, abstract electronica and leftfield pop.
The ideal candidate will have good experience working in releases PR, with a strong background in campaign management across all stages of music releases as well as a contact base to draw on for quick results.
A comprehensive understanding of campaign timelines is essential, as well as the ability to manage all the stakeholders in an efficient manner, alongside good initiative in dealing with and working around delays and roadblocks.
The successful candidate will be reporting daily to the Releases Manager.
The candidate will be based in the TRIN office in Harzer Strasse, Berlin for 2 days a week (specific days to be confirmed). Own laptop will be required.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidate will be required to pitch and secure coverage in the form of premieres, features and reviews for international campaigns (albums, EPs, singles, video seeding)
Secure high level features, reviews (PRINT & ONLINE), premiere coverage, radio play, mix placements.
Deliver a high standard of client management.
Regularly prepare press assets (PR's, bio's, press kits etc) to a high standard matching the identity of the company voice.
Minimum 1 - 2 years music PR experience.
Must have experience of working on music related campaigns.
Someone who is able to work quickly and often unsupervised
Able to handle multiple campaigns at once.
Highly motivated, efficient and results driven.
Personable - this is a relationship driven role so your desire to build strong relationships with both client and press contacts is integral to the position.
An innate need to organise - the candidate will be working across a number of differing campaigns with varying timelines so this is essential.
English essential, German a bonus.
Open-minded music policy.
